Alden and Central Lake United Women in Faith is a group that cares deeply about the welfare of women and children in our community and our society.
We have monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month. All women are invited to attend. We are best known for our Womens Rummage Sale which is happens on the third weekend in August. Donations can be dropped off at the Alden UMC garages after Memorial Day on Saturdays from 10am-12pm in June, and 10am-2pm in July and on Wednesday mornings from 9am-12pm.
All proceeds from the Womens Rummage Sale benefit the following local charities:
Abba House, Alden Food Pantry, Alden Little Free Food Pantry, Alden Community Needs Fund, Cedric-A Child in Africa, Child & Family Services, Community House, KAIR Food Pantry, Good Samaritan Family Services, Front Porch Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Mancelona Lighthouse Food Pantry, Mancelona Baby Pantry, Moms N Tots, Rapid City Food Pantry, Village Market Christmas Giving Tree, Womens Resource Center, and Vacation Bible School
